Looking for a 9800GTX+ cooler

Can anyone recommend a Nvidia 9800GTX+ after-market cooler?

Are you trying to overclock or just reduce noise? If noise reduction is your goal, you can remove the shroud and slap on a high flow case fan.

What is your budget?

The card itself is barely worth $100. I would remove the shroud, strap on a yate loon or similar fan, and put the money aside for a GPU upgrade.

If you insist on upgrading the cooler though, I've heard good things about this, or if you really want to overdo it, then this.

space is not an issue.

interms of upgrading, I don't see the point as of now, since my sli setup right now can practically play any game at throw at it on highest settings. Eventually I will upgrade, but then I'll be building a complete new rig. Thanks for the suggestions tho, I like that second one

I used to have that cooler on my 5750.It was a POS. couldn't keep the temps down at all if I overvolted. It probably wouldn't do anything for a 9800 GTX.

thanks for the suggestion, but that cooler is too small. the stock cooler is a lot better. I was considering the dual fan of that cooler though, just wanted to see if anyone else had any better recommendations.
