haf x942 full case help

hi i have a haf x942 full case and i was wondering 2 things


1 it has wheels on the bottom of the case i know i can take them off but my power supply has a fan on it which is at the bottom of the case of i take my wheels of and set the case on the desk will that burn up my fan or the power supply?

#2 my case also has the glass on the side with a 230mm fan in it is it possible for me too buy a new side that has nothing but glass with out the fan i'm wanting too put led lighs in the case and it would look better without the fan and a full side with glass

You can take the wheels off an put something else there to just have 0.5-1cm clearance for air flow.

I dont think you can buy a different side for the case, but you could get a fan with leds in it.

Sunbeam Tech and Xioide have some nice case feet for good prices.
As for that side panel, the fan bracket is an integrated part of the side panel frame. To remove it would be a major modding operation. I'd pass on that one.
Best bet is to shop for a cheap case with a window with no fan mounts. Only one I'd have anything to do with is the Antec P280 Window.

This is more my taste Antec DF-85

but midi's are big enough so this is on order
