wht do you guys think

took me about 2 hours. ran prime95 for an hour after that to ensure stability.
maxes out at 40C i have the TRUE 120E and haf 932 case

I'm going to go for 4.0Ghz today.

Have you got Turbo enabled in the BIOS to get your X21 CPU multiplier? And what are your temps. Idle and load?

i disabled turbo mode, for some reason it said turbo mode would only work under 3.6 or something. i get like 28C idle 35C load. i'll post 3dmark results after school

Woah! I got to look at my cooling. I'm @ 4.0Ghz now. Just Primed it for just over 20 mins without errors and I was getting 43'C idle and 79'C under load. See here for screeny.

What temp. reading app. are you using? I used Real Temp.

Yea. I'm going to re-do the HSF I think. Watching the temps. during the test showed that they reached 79'C occasionally. Most of the time they were at 74'C. But still i'd say 21'C from TJmax is pretty good.

Gratz on the OC bro, but honestly with 4.2Ghz on i7 920 and 40c Max I am having a hard time believing your temps. No offense.

Is your room like really cold or something? And what tool you using to monitor temps? Real Temps 3.0 is a good one. Also whats your Vcore is at?

I get 42c at idle using 1000rpm. 70c load with "Ultra Kaze 3000" working at 1600rpm and 74c at 1000rpm With 1.35v Vcore/Qpi on my i7 920 D0 at 4Ghz. Ambient at 22c. I use Prolimatech Mega Shadow Deluxe as my heatsink and have 7 120mm Fans in my Cosmos S case.
