I have a 2.5ghz dual core socket 775 and I recently put a really big heatsink and with copper rods and a big gaming cooling fan on the side. The cpu still gets around 55'c when worked, is there any better cooling solutions apart from water cooling for socket 775?
I got a picture of it. |

55C is fine.
Does your CPU happen to be a pent D? They were always hot as hell.

Huh, that is rather hot for that particular CPU. It's still within safe range though.
What TIM did you apply, and how much?

Your picture doesn't work, but I'd have to guess that it's a problem with your thermal paste.

The maximum allowable temperature for the Celeron E3300 2.5ghz dual core is 74.1°C. Take a look. Your CPU should be fine.
