Workgroup help

I thought about this and feel that a NAS would be best. For one reason if PC-A is trying to access PC-B and PC-B is off, well PC-A is out of luck. I am not an advocate of leaving PCs running 24/7. They would never get updated in small offices. Seen it too many times. With a NAS you can have 24/7 access. I am however going to play with the option 3 in post#8. This way I can give them a choice. I'll try that on my PCs.

Thank you all for your helping me on this. Talking with other techs makes things easier. I also learn a lot from this forum. Thanks again.

I have a WD MyCloudMirror 4TB on my network as a mapped drive. It saves me so many headaches. The user and share setup is so simple. The cloud account WD offers is free so you can get in to the nas from a remote local if need be.
