wireless router help

I need to find a good 802.11g wireless router.

I think I need good VPN (virtual private network) support because my dad needs to connect to work from home.

I need at least average range, and something that won't be blocked by a wall.

speed- well, I need about average 802.11g speeds

GOOD SECURITY

need at least 2 wired and 2 wireless users to be on at the same time
without much speed slowing

also, I need printing capibilities for all network users

my dad has a compaq nx9030 laptop. I think this includes an 802.11b and 802.11g cards with it, and if the router needs special cards, please notify me.
