Default Wireless on new comp

So a couple days ago I constructed a new computer (for the first time) and finally got the graphics card up to jog and windows 7 ultimate. Now it's time for the internet connection which I am totally helpless at. It is a wired connection but the computer wont pick it up at all. I am using a Netgear WDX101 adapter(yes it works I did test it on laptop) but it wont work for my new computer. Yes, I checked device manager and there was no tab for networking, all there is is "Other Devices -> Ethernet Controller" I have been checking everything, tried installing the driver for the adapter and it was missing a .dll. So what driver should I be looking for? (if any)
Thanks~

I can't find a Netgear WDX101 listed on the Netgear site. Are you sure that's the correct model number?
