Wireless Networking Question

I'm done guessing and wasting money so I thought i would ask somebody educated, i have a linksys router/wireless card and have moved the 2nd comp about 100 feet away next to a window the other side/floor of the house in a hard to get spot. I bought the linksys THC package for $60 at staples theyre two huge antennas for the router...that gave me 11% connection im returning them and going to go with the linksys Wireless G Rang Expander. Its an actual box almost like a relay station, this should definetly work, what do you think

umm yea it should be fine... what rooms are in bettwen your Wireless Router and your Laptop?? if your Router is in one room acroos the house and your laptop on the other side of the house whats in between? I say that because if your kitchen is in between, they cause a lot of interference such as Microwaves and ovens often interfer with WL connections..
