Wireless connection problem to HTC Desire S

Hey everyone. A friend of mine owns a HTC Desire S and everytime shes goes to her room it wont let her use her wifi internet connection but whenever she is her loungeroom it work perfectly. So does anyone know why this happens..

Because she is out of range.
