Default wired lan and wireless lan

Ok my question has to do pretty much with gaming servers. Is it possible for someone using a laptop to create a game server with there wireless connected and there wired lan connected and for the game to show up on both the wireless network and wired network.

I tried with just those things but it doesn't work. Do I have to bridge the connection or anything?
