Default Re: wired broadband connection connected wirelessly to second laptop

Here are the links that say that wireless is more expensive:

Link for standard plan
http://jetstream.xtra.co.nz/chm/0,68...202321,00.html

Link for wireless plan
http://jetstream.xtra.co.nz/chm/0,,2...202321,00.html

Upon re-reading it I think that the 'wireless' plan might be only for people out of broadband range. Does anyone else find this confusing? Can anyone explain this to me?

Thanks,

P.

its quite clear that they are different. thats a different type of wireless. a bit like 3g. your computer gets the signal from a big tower somewhere (like when your on the internet on your phone, like 3g), therefore you get a lot slower speeds (256kbs/512kb/s). the normal package is just standard internet, which you can use wirelessly in your house with the right router.
