Default Wifi Extension cable?

following this thread, i am looking to buy another router.

i came across this on ebay and now ihave a simple question about this product.

could I run this from my router, and into the shed and connect a spare antenna i have to it?

I would expect a lot of signal loss from that cable.

Perhaps you should look into getting a wireless repeater. Some listed here. Configuration may be necessary.

Or you should get a bigger antenna for your wireless router if it has connectors. Usually it would be N-Type (large) or RP-SMA (small). Check out Data-alliance they have a lot of options available. A directional antenna may be the best way to go.
