That's one thing I don't like about forums that much, because when you try to get your point accross, it can be easily taken the wrong way. Sorry if that came off worng- I'm not trying to put you in a place of defending yourself
I did know that if you type in an address while browsing My Computer, it will take you there.
Back to the point..... if he is not able to ping www.whatever.com
, and we haven't gotten a reply back to see if he can ping 126.96.36.199 or any other IP address, this is the determining factor, IMO, that will make it a DNS issue, or corrupt IE issue IF ideed he is getting a vailid IP, and his firewall is not blocking anything- which could also be the case.
