and about the whole wpa2 thing, my laptop supports it but my desktops usb adapter doesnt seem to. instead it sees wpa2 networks as just wpa and it still works ... so happy times

Bruteforcing a half decent WPA key, would take a very long time. By the time you finished, WPA would no longer be in use.

A 12 digit alpha numeric symbol password has 7.23e79 possible answers. Simply, not bruteforceable while were both living.

I've been dying to try aircrack on some of my neighbor's networks, but unfortunately my PC is in the basement and doesn't get their signal from down here.

i think im gonna install linux and have another bash at it. its just a pity i dont understand all the code you need to use in linux
