My neighbor told me i could use his connection. So i bought a wireless router and plugged it into my computer. Is it possible to get his connection this way or do i need the wireless card as well?
no, you need to have your neighbor use the router, and then set up the wireless card on your pc/laptop. then configure the router on his end so that it is "secure" using WEP or WPK encryption.
i have a built in wireless card on my laptop, i dont know what speed it can handle but it is very fast at downloading things with good signal. try one of these, and if you have a desktop you can get one that slots into the back of the pc
