Thanks setishock, I think I found my problem.. I was trying to use my linksys wifi adapter as a repeater/extender... But what I need is a wifi modem to put out signal the use the linksys adapter to pick up that signal. I have a arris tg862 xfinity modem/router and a apple airport express. Then the linksys wifi adapter wusb54g and a netgear thumb drive size wifi receiver adapter. If I can't get it to work with any of these ill just buy a router that's comparable as a repeater!
