Default use desktop CD Drive for my laptop?

i have a PC desktop and an Mac laptop, but the CD drive is broken on the laptop... so what i want to know is, can i use the CD-rom drive in my desktop with my laptop so that i can put a software disk in the PC but have it load to the Mac? and if so how could i go about doing it?

I don't think there's a cost effective way of doing that.

Your best bet would be ordering a replacement superdrive from Apple's manufacturer, and replacing it yourself.

i appreciate the help...

is that difficult to do though? im not exactly knowledgeable about changing things in a Mac.
