Default Transferring data between networked computers

I was wondering, can you do this directly? I have a home network, and want to share files directly between the three computers. Is there any way I can do this?

Yes, you can setup a home network.
First, you need to make sure that each computer has a different name.
Next, you make sure they are apart of the same workgroup.
Next, pick a folder, and share it to network users.
This is a simple version of what needs to be done- but if you do this on each computer, and reboot each, you shouldn't have any problems.
