transfering files by console shell (ftp) is it possible ive rea it is...cheers

to transfer files from a two pcs i am have heard this is possible on xp home edition by using the command shell .....without using third party software...

by accessing it

do need the computers to have a lead and what should i type in the command shell

as i know the ip address can be be found by typing

configip

and this will give me the internetProtocl ad

so please if any one can help i as am a begginer
and new to pcs thanks
