Default Subnetting?

anyone know where i can get some good material to get my head around subnetting?

ive been staring at the CompTIA book for a while now, its not helping lol

I'd stop by a local book store and check out some of the networking for dummies books. I have an old one that touches on it, new versions should be a little more helpful.
