hi , at the moment we have 2 laptops and 2 dekstops connected to our router which is a Thomson TG585 , usually we have my desktop and one other desktop on most of the time.
The problem i am having is that all the other pc's are working fine and mine is slow for example i cannot run a voice chat while trying to look up something on the internet. Also my download speed is really in-consistent as it varies usually from 1kb/s to 600kb/s and changes every second. At the moment i have an N+ belkin wireless router (cost £50) and i am unsure why there is such a problem. can anyone help? thanks , kiwicube |

Is your computer in general slow?

if all your other computers are ok, it is most likely to be a problem with that computer only. maybe it has a slower network card that the others like the others have a 100mb and tht 1 has a 50 mb or something like that. you can get network cards from ebay at around 2 pounds or somewhere around that if you are in the US
