Default similiar dd-wrt problem

i got frustrated the other day trying to get my router's firmware upgraded. Problem is when i get to the command line and i try putting the command they have me put, it says tftp is not a recognized external or internal command. Im on vista and the TFTP i downloaded was not rated for Vista, only XP. Ive just downloaded a new TFTP server and wont be able to try until im home, but im curious about CMD i have no experience really using it. So my real question is am i just putting the command in wrong or is it something else. I hate vista BTW thanks guys
