Server w/two printer ports, won't print from workstations..

Tool rental store with an old fox pro based program. Run daily, but hit a snag, I need help ( more than you know ) The server has two parallel ports, lpt 2 and lpt 1, both dot matriks printers are attached to the server. No printers local on either workstation. One for contracts, one for reports. Neither workstation will print through the server! Both workstations will print a test page, though. If I knew how to configure the ports and path, I'm sure I could get it going.
