Default Seeing other Computers on the network

I have a netgear wireless router and when I am connect to it I can not see other computers on the network. If I bypass it and connect to the network via a hard cable I can see all the computers on the network. I have windows 7 on both of my laptops. Any ideas?? Thank you

Default Re: Seeing other Computers on the network

wifi routers have something called client isolation. this stops computers on the wifi to not communicate with other computers on wifi. if the other computers are connected as wireless that is the reason.
