Router + External HDD

hey guys,

i'm looking to upgrade my current wireless G router (linksys) to a wireless N. i have a 2TB external HDD that i would like to use as a NAS device.

i'm thinking of getting a router that has a USB 2.0 port so that i can use the external drive as a NAS. but from what i've been reading, the access to the NAS in this type of setup isn't that fast (30-50 Mbps). i have 3 questions:

1) is there a wireless router that has better performance than this when accessing a USB attached drive?

2) is there another option given my current setup?

3) i would like to have torrents downloading directly to the external HDD without the need to have a computer on. are there any wireless routers that have a built in torrent client?

1) That sounds like the avg speed for usb over ethernet.
2) There is custom firmware for various routers. Perhaps you could load it into your router and install a bittorrent client.
3) The Asus WL-700gE wireless router can use bittorrent.
