does a router slow internet down. and i am using wireless....but i am using a usb wireless adaptor..if i get a pci network adaptor will that help at all?
It doesn't slow it down significantly. I don't know if it slows it down at all, but I know that it has never bothered me. I'm guessing it could have a very small effect because of the firewall stuff etc in it.
