Default Remote desktop question?

Hi, i have an extremely nice desktop and a Macbook. I was wondering if there is a remote desktop client program built specifically for wifi. Both my desktop and Macbook have a wireless n card so the connection speed to each other should not be a problem. My main reason for this is i would like to game on my Macbook (basement) while using my Desktop's (upstairs) specifications. Are there any programs that are capable of this because it should work. (Onlive transmits game screens over the internet and i want to do it over wifi).
FYI: for those of you wondering, my Macbook can also run windows so i can run either OS. Thank you

Why not use VNC or LogMeIn.com

The lag would make it unplayable, IMHO. At least, if it was an action game!

What he said I'm afraid - hi-spec 3D games will most likely be completely unplayable.

Those are my thoughts, but I thought I'd at least offer some ideas for the OP to try...
