Question about bluetooth profiles?

I have errors connecting my Samsung HM7000 bluetooth headset to my HP Pavilion dv7t Quad Edition laptop. I contacted Samsung, they said ask HP if my laptop's bluetooth supports headsets, I did, HP said that yes it supports headsets, then I contacted Samsung again, and after being put on hold for several minutes they said the HM7000 doesn't connect with computers. I checked the user manual, and under FAQ it states that the HM7000 "works with devices that support your headset's Bluetooth version and profiles", with the Bluetooth version being 3.0 and the profiles being "Headset Profile, Hands-Free Profile, Advanced Audio Distribution Profile". I guess the question now is, how do I find out what profiles my laptop supports, and if it ends up being able to support all those profiles, what do I do? Any help is appreciated.
