Exclamation Problems connecting laptop to wireless router. Please help me out!

Hello. I recently purchased a HP dv2000 Laptop with Intel Core Duo Cpu and I tired to connect to my wireless router today via the integrated wifi card in my laptop and after I enter in my WEP code and click connect, it connects, but says limited or no connectivity. I tried hooking up the laptop wired to the router and it worked, but for some reason the wifi won't work. Got any ideas?
I know it is not the router because my main rig in my sig connects to the router wirelessly from another room in my house.
When I click on the icon in the toolbar in the bottom right corner and I click repair, it says the following:

"Failed to renew IP address"

Is there a section where I can manually enter this information into?

Thanks alot. I really need some help
