Default Problem with wireless network card

Hey guys, I'm have a problem with my wireless network card that i installed in my computer running Ubuntu 12.04. Its not picking up the card and acts like it isn't even there. I've tried making Ubuntu look for drivers for new hardware but still nothing. Its a Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter 2.4Ghz Model No. WMP54G and it's installed in a HP Pavilion 763n desktop. I've tried googling it but still falling short. Does any know of any generic drivers for a wireless adapter for linux?

thanks for any help you may have, and in the mean time i'll still be looking!!
tj

Default Re: Problem with wireless network card

I found a tool on Ubuntu called ndiswrapper that I can use Windows drivers, but now I need to find some Windows drivers for the Linksys card. So if anybody can help me find them that would be very appreciated!! Thanks!!!
