Default Possibly a silly question!

Hi folks,

Firstly, really enjoying the forums!

I am very interested in working in the Computer Networking Field. I am looking for pointers on the best way to enter the field, either industry certification or going back to college/uni??

Any info would be great.

Thanks.

If you can afford it, go to college. Times are changing and the best way to do it is school (to get a good job). Certifications definitely help. I'd start out doing the CompTIA certs if you are mid level. Cisco if you're more advance. Just my 2 cents.

A basic certification is the A+ certified technician. However, if you can't afford college, look around and see if there are trade schools available to you.
