Default Ping Linux Loopback from LAN

Hello, I have a loopback configured on my Ubuntu box tap0 with the ip address of and I can't seem to figure out how to ping it from the rest of my network which is (Gateway router IP is, sending DHCP to the first subnet there)

There has to be a static route (default route) I need to add but it has me confused.

Default Re: Ping Linux Loopback from LAN

Shouldn't the default route be something like

ip route

Wouldn't it be easier to use eigrp or some other routing protocol then to static route?
