Default P2p

If files were leaked on a p2p network inadvertenly. And that network is no longer available or in service anymore. Would those files still be circulating

I'm going to say no, it couldn't be traced back to you in this scenario. Unless you had some sort of personally identifiable information in the files that were shared.

If it was transmitted over wifi, it could still be traveling through space but you could travel out, faster than radio waves, intercept the signal and alter it for your safety...or not.
