Default New wireless n

Hi, I've bought a wireless N for me iphone so I can get a better signal around the house because my netgear wireless g isnt powerful enough. Everything is hunkydorey except now I cannot view my laptop through network discovery when its wirelessly connected to the new router.

The 802.11n is connected to my old 802.11g modem router, I am able to connect if I connect the laptop to the old one. I have disabled mac filters and windows firewalls but it still doesnt find the laptop.

Thanks for your suggestions

EDIT: The laptop shows up in network discovery but cannot connect, the PC doesnt show up from the laptop though (they are both shared drives) I am also unable to ping the laptop from my pc BUT the laptop WILL ping the PC. I can also ping the new router from my PC

802.11n : 192.168.2.1
802.11g : 10.0.0.1

laptop : 192.168.2.2
pc : 10.0.0.2
