please help me, i have a Acer laptop without a CD DRIVE and i want to install windows 7 on it so i thought i can network it to the desktop which has the cd drive and share it then boot from network, i have the router which is the wireless AP Router, but i dnt know how to network them and which cables to use if its a straight through or a cross over.. please help me and show me how to network them as on the desktop there is windows 7....

Why not download window's usb download/installer tool instead? Very simple to use. Make sure the flash drive is 4GB or larger and you backup everything on it, it'll be erased. This is the preffered way i do these installs.
Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Downloads Have fun. Oh, and make sure to boot off of the flash drive on the laptop. |
