Default Networking question

OK I have a question and was wondering if you guys could help me with it...
We are going to be moving soon and me and my dad are talking about making our own server to use for our whole home network. I'm wondering if it would be possible to connect it to the internet and not have to pay an ISP, basically I'm wondering if it's possible to make a server, and then connect it to the internet without having to go through an ISP so we would have our own domain and such.

Thanks,
Troy

The only option is, for you to become an ISP. Even then, you're going to have to connect to someone, or lease someones lines, so john123 is correct.
