Default Network Monitoring Tool.

Wow, not been on here for a while. One quick question. Need a program that can monitor everything connected to the network, such as all computers, laptops, xbox's etc etc..

Any ideas.

Here are a few different free tools that do different things:

Nmap Network Mapper

Wireshark Protocol Analyzer

Nessus Vulnerability Scanner

If you are running a server do you have SNMP enabled? If so there are variousl SNMP tools, but be cautious since this does cause somewhat of a vulnerability.
