netgear wireless router / laptop HEEELP!

i have a brand new netgear wireless router and HP Laptop... i was wondering if i can take an ethernet cord and run it from my laptop (which has wireless internet) to my brother's Playstation 2 and he be able to get online and play people (with the playstation)?? if this is possible without a wireless bridge and or a LOOOOOOONG ethernet cord to go from my living room to his room can u please tell me how i would do so.... Thank you very much to whoever may reply....




P.S.... the reason im askin is because im tired of sitting in the living room and listening to him play that game ALL day... So PLEASE help ME out......hehe

Since you said your laptop has a wireless card, why don't you just hook the router up in your brothers room so he can play playstation via RJ45 in his bedroom and you can just connect wirelessly with your laptop throughout the house.
