Net, but no printer or folders

Hi Everybody !!

I wonder if somebody could help me?

I have set up a home network, using my pc and laptop.
I can get the internet, but cannot see my printers or shared folders?
I have shared both printers and folders on my PC and shared folders on my laptop, but I just cant seem to find them?

I set the network up on both machines using winxp wizard.
My PC connects to a netgear wireless router (MR814), using ethernet cable and my laptop connects to it using a wifi card.

When in "my network places", all I can see on my laptop is the laptop's shared folders etc, but not my home system.

Any replies on this would be gratefull.

All sorted now.
Yes the workgroups were the same.
Another forums suggested that I deleted zone alarm and also uncheck the Win XP firewall to.
Apparently, the router has it's own firewall?

also they work by Network Address Translation or NAT.....
