I need a new long range antenna so I can turn my router into an access point. A miles range antenna would be dandy. My parents run on a repeater type system and theirs was like 400 dollars and they are using it at a range of 6 or 7 miles. That's way overkill for what I need and I don't want to spend that much. So what kind of antenna do I need to pick up a wifi network at a mile or less. Thanks
