The first thing I tried was turning off everything, windows firewall, nod32, windows defeneder etc. That didnt work. I had the windows drivers but just to be sure I downloaded the vista x86 nforce4 driver pack. Now I'm getting bsod's on boot up. It says something about royal.sys trying to write on read only memory. So im going to try uninstalling all the new drivers except the ethernet dirvers.

I just uninstalled all of the nvidia drivers and im still getting bsod on boot up. I read somewhere that the nvidia drivers might have corrupted important system files. Is this true? I do not have a restore point (I just cleared my restore points grrrr)

Okay now I reinstalled vista and the first thing I did was install the ethernet driver and my web browser avant. I tried to get into the router and it worked! I guess it was the ethernet driver, thanks everyone. Im going to install all my stuff again and see if I run into any problems.
