Default Looking to expand my networking field

Like mentioned im looking to expand my knowledge networking computers, I know how to do many things such as share files over the network etc. Is there any good tutorials or fun things you guys like to practice with in a home network? I have about 12 laptops in home that are just sitting here and I'd like to do some type of advanced networking including servers, such as print, sql, apache etc.

Any tips you guys/gals would like to share would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Adrian

Load one with a Sever version of an OS and then setup a domain. Then you can set up a print server, file server, etc.
