Default Linksys router troblem

Hey guys hows it going, I just recently bought a linksys broadband router and during the almost final step on the installation when its detecting the router it says: Can't detect router. all the correct lights are on everyone is plugged in perfectly??

Need more information: What router is it exactly? Model #?

What adapter are you using? Internal NIC? USB? Are you connected Wirelessly? Or wired? If you aren't connected wired, you should try it wired. I have only had to setup one of these routers before, and it requires that you are connected wired during the setup process.

aww lets see: Wireless-G 2.4 GHz broadband router linksys. im connected with an ethernet cord to it, its all connected

Onboard NIC, make sure that your motherboard drivers are updated and installed correctly.
