Default latop question

if you drop a laptop and it breaks, can you still salvage the hard drive and data inside? can u transfer it to another laptop??

or is the registry settings specifically for that laptop alone?

Yea you can. Just unplug it and plug it in to the new computer as a slave drive. Or hook it uo to a desktop computer with an adapter I see them on Ebay all the time.
