Will somebody pls tell me why actually do we need to set up the DNS server and active directory before we go for a networking. And is this only needed for the server machine or is it necessary to configure DNS server and the Active directory for both clients and the server?
Though i have setup a network b4 i haven't understood y exactly do we have to do all such things.
I would be grateful if anyone could take the pain and time to help me.
