Default ISP Blocking Ports

I have been having a problem with my ISP blocking some of my ports, which is keeping me from being able to use my P2P file sharing programs. I am wandering if anyone can tell me how to bypass my ISP, or what I need to do to enable my file sharing programs to work properly?

Try going through a diferent port. Usualy anything higher then 1023 is safe.
