Internet Leechers?

I have some neighbors that are using my wifi. I have WPA2-TKIP set up, but they are still leeching somehow. I'm thinking...change password, or play some pranks. What kind of pranks. I am running Windows 7 if it helps.
I have already redirected their IP to a porn site when they connect

I do believe that technically breaking an encoded password to use a wireless internet connection is illegal.

Call your service provider and/or the cops....that should be funny.

Actually have you tried talking to them, let them know you are aware and that you want them to stop. Change your password and if it keeps happening then report them.

Don't mess with your neighbors. You may be committing felonies as well. Do change your router password. Disable SSID broadcasting as well so that they can't "see" your network anymore. Change your SSID as well.

set a mac filter too. most router do that now.

I forgot we live in a world where you can't talk to your neighbors without the risk of being shot.... However, all of these suggestions are valid.

Please know I was joking when I said to call the cops, but I still believe it's illegal to break encryption on a wireless network.

MAC Address Filtering is the single best thing in the world. Unless they break into your router itself to add their own MAC Address, that'll stop them. Unfortunately for me I have a MAC Airport Extreme router which somehow doesn't have MAC Address Filtering even though it cost me $250.

if you can do without the wireless for a while, turn it off for now. do some research on security. do some upgrading and then turn it back on. see if that does it.

But it will take a while to guess a correct MAC address right? Plus there's the hassle of setting it up and then what happens when a friend comes over.

Proper security and communication between neighbors is probably best.
