Internet Connection Sharing Inquiry

Hey guys,

I have two computers networked together. My laptop is the one that has internet access and I have shared that so my desktop can access the internet as well. I also have antivirus software on the laptop. Will I need to also install antivirus software on my desktop pc or just having the antivirus software on the laptop will be good enough?

It would probably be a good idea to install it on both, the AV of the laptop won't do anything for the other computer.
