I recently bought a Linksys Internet router (Simultaneous Dual Band- model WRT400N) and for a while it did it's job well, however it's recently become quite the problem.
When I connect my modem to my computer, it works fine, but the moment the router is attached no one in my network gets internet, including myself. I've done resets, both hard and soft, reinstalled the software, restored factory defaults and I've followed every instruction given to me by the manual. Any advice would be appreciated by my home-group! --Charmz |

Give this a shot:
Unplug the modem and router from power and let them sit for about five minutes. Turn the modem back on and let it boot for a minute or two. After waiting, plug the router into power. Hopefully you'll have a connection. If not, the odds are the router took a dive on you. It's not all that common for Linksys routers, but still possible.

what would the connection between the router and PC's? is it wired or wireless?
If it is wired, try to check the crimping of your RJ45 to your UTP cable. If it is wireless, it could be the configuration of your router. |

are there any wireless devices between you and the router like a phone?? These can cause a problem with your connection.
