Imap pop problem--skymail

Hi Folks,

Great site ive been lurking for a while some very knowledgeable folks on here..

My problem is that I want to disable my SKY email but cant find the way to do it , Sky wont switch it off,I am told that by disabling IMAP but when I go in there it is enabled and when I disable im still able to send emails to that account.

Can anyone please help me out and tell me how to disable this email account
